1. Overview

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Nest Psychology website and services. By accessing our site or engaging in our therapeutic services, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

2. Services Provided

Nest Psychology provides child, adolescent, and family psychological therapy via home visits and secure online platforms. Sessions may include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), trauma-focused work, behavioural strategies, and family support planning.

3. Suitability & Scope

Nest Psychology supports children and young people aged 7–17. We do not provide:

• Emergency mental health care

• Crisis intervention

• Formal diagnoses or medico-legal reports

• Services for individuals outside the defined age range unless previously agreed in writing

4. Booking & Cancellations

• Initial assessments and ongoing sessions must be pre-booked and confirmed in writing

• A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling

• Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice may be charged in full unless in exceptional circumstances

• Repeated missed sessions may result in withdrawal of service

5. Fees & Payment

• Fees are outlined clearly prior to engagement (e.g., £150 for a 90-minute Nest Planning Session)

• Payment is due in advance of the session unless otherwise agreed

• Payments can be made via secure online platforms or direct bank transfer

• You will receive a receipt or invoice for each payment upon request

6. Confidentiality & Safeguarding

All information shared during therapy is treated with strict confidentiality. Exceptions include:

• Risk of harm to self or others

• Child safeguarding concerns

• Disclosure of serious criminal activity

• Legal obligations to share information

Where possible, any breach of confidentiality will be discussed with you beforehand.

7. Data Protection

We adhere to the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for how we collect, store, and use your personal data.

8. Website Use

You agree not to use the Nest Psychology website to:

• Post or share any harmful, abusive, or illegal content

• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our website or systems

• Reproduce or copy content without prior written permission

While every effort is made to provide professional and effective support, Nest Psychology cannot guarantee specific outcomes. Therapy is a collaborative process, and success depends on various factors, including client engagement.

10. Right to Refuse Service

Nest Psychology reserves the right to decline or discontinue service where:

• The service is not deemed clinically appropriate

• There is a breakdown in therapeutic relationship or mutual trust

• Boundaries or terms are repeatedly breached

In such cases, where appropriate, a referral or signposting to alternative services may be offered.
